Collaborated directly with the SEO Director and supported 5 account managers in a dynamic agency environment, overseeing diverse clients and businesses.
Role
During my time as an SEO Intern, I discovered more than I ever imagined possible. Under the guidance of my manager, Lyndsie, I had the opportunity to support clients from diverse industries, including interior designers, painters, and trucking services. Delving into the backend of WordPress, I witnessed firsthand how SEO strategies come to life. From understanding the importance of metadata and title tags to the impact of Local SEO in franchises, I learned the power of coordinating PPC and SEO efforts for optimal results.
Challenges
Navigating a remote role presented its challenges, pushing me to adapt and become more resourceful. While I had prior experience with the front-end of WordPress during my Digital Marketing Bootcamp, mastering the backend proved to be a different challenge altogether. On my very first day, I dove headfirst into creating optimized blog posts for over 60 clients, a testament to the intensity and hands-on nature of the internship.
